There are a few boxes a store must check in order for surfers to consider it a real Surf Shop. One, you have to carry surfboards, real surfboards. There are many tourist traps that claim to be surf shops that don’t even carry surfboards. Cheap fabric covered boogie boards don’t count. Second, the owner or staff should surf. How can the sales person know the difference in how a square tail or pin tail ride unless they surf.
